Our Mystery
Run starts and ends by members/guests trying
to
solve the 'mystery' of where we are going.
It's a day-long trip, with tons of fun and games!
The day
started out at Paul & Kathy Kopp's house,
where 20 cars gathered to join in the day's events.
The Poker Run
began with everyone drawing their 1st poker card.
Then, we set off on our Mystery Run, with our list
of clues.
We made our
1st pit stop at Ted's Place,
before we made our way up into the Rocky Mountains.
The cruise took us westward, up and into the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
We were still
searching for the remainder of the clues for our Mystery Run Game.
About an hour
later, we were at our lunch destination, "The Pot Belly Restaurant",
near Red Feather's Lake.
After everyone
was settled, and ordered their lunch,
Linda and Jack McClellan revealed the Mystery Run's clue answers.
The winner of
the Mystery Run, with 11 clues correct was Corvettes West newest member,
Emily Loose! Emily won a Denver Broncos Shirt!
There was a tie for 2nd Place, and the winners were:
Cheryl Darnell and Regan Waddle, both receiving a Corvette T-shirt.
While we were
waiting for our lunch to arrive,
Jack McClellan and Bruce Thornal conducted a Trivia Game,
with the member with the most correct answers would win a prize.
There was a tie between Karen Giardino and Paul Kopp.
After a "tie-off", of best 2 out of 3 correct answers, Karen edged out Paul.
The Trivia Prize was a Easy Bagger, garden helper.
The lunch was good, service was great, and conversation was fun.
