Ditch Day - April 4th, 2008
There were
11 Corvettes with 9 members and 3 guests,
who enjoyed some “springtime fun and excitement,” on a beautiful day!
Event
Planner, Marty Durrant, tells the "daring & ditching" group about the route,
and other important info, before we're off.
We left and headed east out of
Lucerne, then
north towards Barnesville.
After we re-grouped at one of our favorite spots,
and headed north, towards I-80 in Wyoming.
We're off to the T/A Truck
Stop east of Cheyenne for lunch.
Lunch was good, conversation and the laughter was excellent.
Mickey Yarmer joined the rest of the group in Cheyenne WY.
After our lunch break, we headed
home down Hwy 85,
with a few cars, leaving us along the way home.
There was very little traffic on the way to Cheyenne, and slightly more on the
way home.
All in all, a perfect day to DITCH!
