Ladies Day Out - "CARE Packages"

What a great summer day for a Ladies Day Out!

To start our day, there were 7 members,
who enjoyed a great brunch at the Gazebo in Bittersweet Park,
near the Veteran's Memorial!

Thanks to Judy Boker, for the yummy variety of quiches and refreshing fruit salad,
and also to Sandi Schreiner, for the delicious banana cake and donuts!

After a great brunch and conversation, we sorted, bagged and assembled 7 boxes,
jammed packed with various items, which will be mailed to soldiers serving in Iraq.

"Thank You" to those CW members who donated items for the CARE Packages,
but were unable to attend.

This was one of CW's Charity Events.

We enjoyed spending time together,
thinking about the courageous service men and women,
and our club's small tokens of gratitude for defending our freedom.
