Ladies Day Out - Hot August Days
9 Members/Guests attended this toe-tappin' fun event!
We gathered at Doug
Kershaw's "The Bayou House" in Lucerne CO
and after a great lunch, put on the music
and began that "Electric Slide" across the floor!
Cajun food is the house specialty,
and everyone found something yummy for lunch!
Then we dusted off our
"cowgirl boots and other dancing shoes"
and began to "boogie down!"

patiently gave us 'step-by-step' instructions
to "some new and some old" line dances.
Nobody worried about
dancing mistakes! We were there to learn and have fun!
And, fun we had!
You know what Al Pacino said in "Scent of a Woman" -
"When you tangle up, you just tango on!"
We all shared stories remembered about a special "Hot August Night!"
